I feel personally attacked by that title 😂 I was lucky enough to see this three separate times. Once early in college, once just before graduation, and once in my late 20's, just before it closed. The way I got WRECKED by a different number each time...

One of my biggest dreams is to play a character in this musical one day. Even though the official musical is over, I still have the desire to be part of an unofficial version. I think it's a strange dream for a teenager....

Really great singing, but the puppeteering needed a lot of work on the main male characters part. Especially in the very first song. Flopping the mouth way too wide and not matching what is being said. Makes it hard to watch what is supposed to be the main eye catch.

This was my cousin’s dream musical to act in, and he played both Princeton and Rod when it was finally brought to our country. He was absolutely amazing! I went to watch it multiple times while it was live, and I very quickly fell in love with the show. Fuck, the puppets are not easy to keep in sync, so I am still very impressed with the amazing actors here, superb job!

This whole cast was so good

Nah bc, this was actually so enjoyable and honestly the messages displayed really touched my heart and were quite relatable. Like, I've been fighting with the thought that even with happiness and even with sadness, nothing's really permanent, and it kinda festered into, "I'll never just--be okay," but that last song, "only for now," really encapsulated that feeling and made it seem more comforting rather than something to mourn over. Amazing really. + The puppets and voices, and everything is just so expressive and silly, I actually really love it.

This show was a low-key masterpiece of deep lyrics, catchy tunes, and comedy sugar to help the pill go down. I love entertainment that's legitimately nutritious for the mind and soul too. The ending song is my spirit-animal.

this is cool, but the brazilian version has so more energy

been skimming through different avenue q performance’s recently trying to find the ideal one to recommend to others, and this one is definitely up there for the puppeteering alone. I do wish the puppet designs were more accurate, but the puppeteering itself is really high quality and almost on par with the original broadway performances.
